2026 ISME World Conference Travel Awards
ISME offers several awards to provide financial assistance to those who would benefit from support to attend and present at the 2026 ISME World Conference at Montreal, Canada.

General Guidelines for all ISME World Conference Awards
All awards are available to ISME members only.
Award will normally be distributed post-conference attendance, unless otherwise approved by the ISME Finance Committee.
Eligible costs: travel, accommodation, sustenance. Membership and registration are not covered by these awards
Application Requirements
- 1 page CV
- Personal statement (300-400 words).
- Referee report (400 words).

Steve Dillon Award | ISME members currently enrolled in a graduate research degree (Masters or Doctorate) and accepted to present at the 2026 World Conference | Not more than US $1500 |
NEW! ISME Indigenous Delegate Travel Award | ISME members who self-identify as Indigenous, and are accepted to give a spoken or poster presentation at the 2026 ISME World Conference | Not more than US $1500 |
