ISME normally offers conference awards to help finance the costs of travel and accommodation for those who wouldn't otherwise been able to afford to attend.

For the 2022 virtual conference this has been changed to offer free registration for selected first time attendees, students and members from Low Purchasing Power Parity countries.

These conference awards must be applied for separately and before registration.
