University professor and researcher specializing in the area of Music Education, with a particular focus on pedagogy for general music teaching and the use of new technologies in the musical practice of sound creation/composition. Since 2019, he has been teaching the subject of Music Education in Basic Education (primary education), having taken on the position of adjunct professor in the Department of Arts of the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, where he carries out teaching and research activities. Since 2024, he has expanded his professional field of activity as a specialized trainer in the area of music teaching methodologies, contributing to the ongoing training of music educators and teachers. His research focuses on strategic areas of contemporary music education, namely music teaching methodologies, pedagogical integration of new digital technologies, teacher training and curriculum development. This multidisciplinary approach reflects a holistic vision of music education, where technological innovation is articulated with well-founded pedagogical practices. He maintains an active participation in the global academic community, regularly presenting papers at prestigious conferences, with emphasis on his presence at ISME (International Society for Music Education), EAS (European Association for Music Education), APME (Association for Popular Music Education) and APEM (Portuguese Association of Music Education).
