Associate Professor of Music Education at the School of Music and Performing Arts and Assistant Dean of Extension and Culture of the Federal University of Goiás.

Musical Educator, Researcher, Guitarist; Flavia Maria Cruvinel is a PhD in Education, Master in Music Education and a Specialist in Brazilian Music in the 20th Century. She published the books "Musical Education and Social Transformation: an experience with collective string learning” (2005) and "Music and Power: Music and power: the Bragantino Courtier Habitus in the tropics" (2022) . Active in the cultural area, she was a Member of the National Committee for Incentive to Culture - Music segment, Ministry of Culture (biennium 2013-2014) and participated to the directory of the Brazilian Association of Music Education like a representative of the State of Goiás (2005-2008), the Central-West Regional Director (2009-2012/2022-2023) and the Second National Secretary of the entity (Biennium 2013-2015). She co-conceived and produced the "Brazilian Kaleidoscope”, a concert at the closing cerimony of the World Conference of ISME in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2012 and the concert at the opening cerimony in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2014. In 2004 she designed ENECIM - National Meeting of Collective Teaching of Musical Instrument, coordinating four editions until the present moment. From 2009-2016 she was General Coordinator of Culture and 2014-2022 she was Assistant Dean of Extension and Culture at the Federal University of Goiás. Since 2018 he has been a member of the Artistic and Cultural Production Commission of AUGM / Grupo Montevideo. She is currently Associate Professor at the School of Music, Director of Arts and Cultures of CETT-UFG and Vice-Director of School of Musica and Performing Arts and ISME Board Member 2020-2022/2022-2024.
