Elisa Seppänen is a music educator, trainer, and mentor. She graduated with master's degrees in music pedagogy and educational sciences, most recently with a degree in Changing Education (MA) from the University of Helsinki (2022). She specializes in early childhood music education and creative music education approaches, including Orff pedagogy. Currently, she is a music education lecturer at the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki. Elisa also serves as a mentor in the international International Mentorship in Orff-Schulwerk training program alongside Soili Perkiö and Christa Coogan. In addition, she designs and implements training courses for teachers in national and international music education courses. Her passion lies in interculturality and interdisciplinary approaches in music education.

Elisa Seppänen is also a musician, and her interests include rhythm collectives, children's music, folk music, and pop and classical music styles.
