Cuishan (Tracey) Shi is a Ph.D. candidate in music education from Indiana University Bloomington. During her time at IU, she has taught Introduction to Music Fundamentals and The Teaching of Music in Elementary Schools to undergraduate elementary education majors. Additionally, Tracey has worked as a lead teacher at IU Musical Beginnings program. Tracey presented her research at the Big Ten Academic Alliance annual conference, Desert Skies, 2022, and Society for Music Teacher Education Symposium. Tracey received her Kodály certification from IU in 2022 and completed her Orff Level II and Dalcroze Level I in 2023. Tracey's research interests include interdisciplinary music teaching, general music, intercultural learning, and intercultural collaboration.
