Colin Patrick Enright is a doctoral candidate in Music Education-Interdisciplinary Studies at McGill University where he also earned his B.Mus, B.Ed, and M.A. in Music Education. His doctoral research explores the impact of group music-making in educational and community settings on resilience, mental health, and well-being. Colin serves as Director and Principal Conductor of the Montreal New Horizons Band, a nonprofit ensemble dedicated to fostering accessible musical engagement for adult learners. He also works as a vocal teacher and band director at the Préville Fine Arts Centre on Montreal’s South Shore. Colin is co-editor (with Dr. Andrea Creech) of the forthcoming volume, Pedagogies for Later-Life Music Learning and Participation: Meaningful Music‑Making in Later Life.
