Marcelle Moor is a teacher educator for Music Education at the Haute École Pédagogique BEJUNE in Switzerland since 2015. Having first trained as a violist in New Zealand, she has since accumulated various language and music teaching experiences, notably at Université Paris X, France, and in various primary and secondary schools in Switzerland. Her research interests include body engagement, teacher identity and collaborative creation in music teaching and learning, arts didactics in general, and teachers' personal and practical epistemologies. Her doctoral thesis currently underway (codirected by Pascal Terrien, Aix-Marseille Université et François Joliat, HEP-BEJUNE) focuses on primary generalist teachers' personal and practical epistemologies as seen through the lenses of pedagogical content knowledge and the didactics framework common to French-speaking research in teacher education.
