The 13th Latin American Regional Conference and 5th Pan American Regional Conference will be held online from the University of the Caribbean, Cancun, Mexico on 3-6 August 2021. It is being held with the institutional support of the Secretariat of Education of the State of Quintana Roo.

The theme is Music education today: renewing views and contexts of change.

Carlos Gabriel Trujillo del Río, Organising Committee Chair ISME CANCUN 2021 says "The unsuspected scenario in which the world and its regional realities are found today, forces us to rethink the work of the music educator, establishing a new dialogue with different forms, spaces and tools for work and analysis. With the theme: "Music education today: Renewing views and contexts of change", this encounter will contribute to glimpse with depth challenges and problems, as well as opportunities for innovation and professional cooperation in our field. We will do our best to make you feel the warmth and joy of Mexico wherever it is you are watching from."

Registration is  US$50 per person (1,030 pesos), with discounts for  ISME members, students and teachers. Registration opens on 15 April.
