Involved with instrumental or vocal teaching? The ISME Forum wants to hear from you!
ISME has established a new Forum for Instrumental and Vocal Teaching to engage directly with instrumental and vocal teachers.
The Forum is running a strand of activities throughout the ISME World Conference in Thessaloniki in July 2012, and is offering opportunities to anyone involved with instrumental or vocal teaching to present papers, case studies of their work, or conduct workshops in our dedicated space. This is a great opportunity for those in the field to share their work – research-driven or practical – with a global community of music educators.
As well as the presentation sessions there will be networking events such as dinners for interested delegates.
The Forum embraces music-making in all its forms worldwide, at every level of engagement: if instrumental and vocal teaching are involved, the Forum is interested.
Submissions can be made from 1 August to 1 October 2011. No late submissions will be accepted, so please plan to submit on time.
To submit a proposal to present, please read the Call for Papers for the World Conference, and submit your proposal on the World Conference submission system, choosing the drop down menu for "Forum for Instrumental and Vocal Teaching".
The Conference runs from 15—20 July 2012, at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in Thessaloniki, Greece. All information regarding the Conference is accessible through the dedicated 2012 Conference button.
We look forward to hearing from you!
