SEMINAR AIM
The focus of the Commission on Music in Special Education, Music Therapy and Music Medicine is to
- gather and present detailed information from each specific profession;
- exchange information regarding training of the three professions;
- share information and research through an informal email discussion group and through biannual seminar meetings; and
- present the outcomes of these meetings in publications.

By air
Get to the Beijing International Airport; there are Shuttle buses on the ground floor at the Terminal 1; please take the Shuttle bus Line 4 to the Direction Gong Zhufen and take off at the Station Zi Zhu Qiao. Then walk about 300 meters along the avenue (the same direction of driving), you will see a tall white building, which is the Building of International Education, then turn right at the corner, about 50 meters you will at the gate of the Capital Normal University (North Campus). Please go straight ahead, when you pass the Building of International Education, there is another tall building on the left opposite the playground is the Library, where we will have our conference. There will be volunteers at the gate guide to the conference hall.
The price for shuttle bus is 16 Yuan (only RMB/Yuan cash is acceptable).
By train
- Get to the Beijing West Train station,there is a bus station near by. You can take Bus 374, and get off at the Station Zi Zhu Yuan). Then walk back about 50 meters to the overpass to across the street, about 200 meters along the avenue (the same direction of driving), you will see a tall white building, which is the Building of International Education, then turn right at the corner, about 50 meters you will at the gate of the Capital Normal University (North Campus). Please go straight ahead, when you pass the Building of International Education, there is another tall building on the left(opposite the playground)is the Library, where we will have our conference. You can take the subway Line 2 to the station Fu Xin Men, and change to Line 1 to the station Gong Zhu Fen, then change Bus 374 to the Station Zi Zhu Yuan. - You can just show the address to the driver. Print out the linked Google Maps page before you leave!
- The price by taxi from the Beijing International Airport is about 80-120 Yuan, depends on the traffic.
- The price by taxi from the Beijing West Train Station is about 20 Yuan, depends on the traffic.

- 900Yuan, including all symposia, poster and workshop sessions, a concert, programs, proceedings, transportation fees for two workshop visits, lunch for 3 days, coffee or tee during pause
- The deadline of registration fee is 30th April, 2010. Later than the deadline, the registration will be 1000Yuan
- The cancellation will be 40% of the registration fee off
